During your session, we’ll take a closer look at how your body moves—assessing your posture, balance, gait, and overall mindfulness. This deep understanding allows us to create a personalized plan to help you step into optimal health and wellness.


My role is to guide and support you in refining key movement patterns that encourage healing, strength, and alignment. After your initial consultation, we’ll map out the next steps toward your wellness goals and create a plan to help you achieve them.


This practice is about finding the right fit for your journey. If I feel that another approach may serve you better, I’ll gladly refer you to a practitioner or activity that aligns with your needs. However, if we decide to work together, we’ll set clear goals and commit to a structured eight-week program—partnering with Maria Aihaha-Sasaki when needed—to help you achieve meaningful, lasting results.


At the end of eight weeks, we’ll reassess your progress, ensuring your body is adapting and thriving. Most sessions are held once a week, though in some cases—especially with neurological learning—we may meet more frequently. My focus is on long-term wellness, and I’m here to help reinforce the new movement patterns that support your healthiest, most balanced self.

About Michael

Dr. Michael Luan, D.C., M.Om., BS is a Body Communications Coach, Consultant and Speaker. He is a Doctor of a Chiropractic and holds a Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, as well a Bachelor of Science in  Biomedical Engineering from USC. With over 30 years of experience in various forms of martial arts, Dr. Luan has dedicated his life to helping individuals with sports training, peak performance, biomechanics, body rolling, mind-body techniques, rehabilitation, body patterning, yoga and teacher training. Much of Michael's life has focused on integrating his education and experience to create a personalized healing process for you.
